Ashley Beasley

Scholarship Recipient

Ashley Beasley is a proud 2018 recipient of the Sisters Giving Back Scholarship. Since receiving the award, her journey has been defined by academic excellence, leadership, and a heartfelt commitment to empowering young people and supporting mental wellness.
A first-generation college graduate, Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors from Neumann University in 2022. She continued her studies at Neumann, completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, also with honors, in May 2025.

Throughout both her undergraduate and graduate career, Ashley distinguished herself as a campus leader, serving in a variety of roles including Student Government Executive, Resident Assistant, Graduate Assistant, and peer mentor. These experiences strengthened her skills in advocacy, student support, and community engagement — values that remain central to her work today.

In September 2025, Ashley relocated to Maryland to begin her career in education. She currently teaches kindergarten in Prince George’s County, where she has the privilege of supporting 26 young scholars each day. Through her work in the classroom, she nurtures confidence, curiosity, and emotional readiness in her students, while also continuing her professional development toward becoming a licensed clinical therapist.

With a passion for mental health, child development, and education, Ashley plans to pursue her doctorate to become a child and adolescent psychologist. She is deeply grateful for the foundation and support provided by Sisters Giving Back, which she credits as a pivotal influence in her academic and professional journey.

Ashley embodies the values of excellence, dedication, and service — inspiring young minds today while preparing to transform young lives in the future.
