SECTION 1 – WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT AND WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
Like most websites, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website. From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?
When donating or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address or other details to help you with your experience.

How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a donation, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and services in which you are most interested.
- To quickly process your transactions.
- To register you for one of our events
- To ask for ratings and reviews of our services.
- To follow up with you after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries)
When you make a donation on our website, as part of the donation process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.
We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our site. We only disclose logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that we use and disclose personally-identifying information, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the site where the comment was left.
Also, visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
If you use our contact form to get in touch with us, we will collect your name and email address and optionally your phone and message. We keep contact form submissions for an indefinite period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
How Do I Withdraw My Consent from Email Subscriptions?
If after you opt-in to our email subscriptions, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information or to have your information deleted from our site, at any time, by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a previous email or contacting us at: email@example.com

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase or donation-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So, if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation.
